For many people, depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder are debilitating mental health conditions that cannot be resolved with medication and therapy alone. To help our patients achieve relief and a chance at a better life, we offer NeuroStar Advanced TMS therapy, the #1 physician-recommended treatment of its kind, a nonsurgical, noninvasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment designed to help our patients achieve rapid and sustainable results.

At Pinnacle Behavioral Healthcare, we aim to help our patients experience relief from their mental health conditions and work with them to create a treatment plan. This empowers our patients to be informed and make treatment decisions with comfort and confidence. If you want to learn more about understanding the TMS therapy timeline, schedule your consultation with our medical director, Dr. Awosika.

The NeuroStar Treatment Timeline

Your NeuroStar treatment journey will begin with an initial consultation with Dr. Awosika in our newly renovated, comfortable office. This consultation will determine the scope and nature of your eligibility, suitability for the procedure, and your NeuroStar treatment plan.

During your initial consultation, our NeuroStar therapy providers create a treatment plan and timeline with your best interests in mind. All patients should follow their personalized treatment plan for the best chance of achieving a successful outcome.

The NeuroStar TMS treatment will be delivered over a seven-week treatment course. Each daily treatment session will take about 20 minutes. These treatments do not require anesthesia or sedation, so you will be awake, alert, and comfortable throughout your treatment. After your session, you are free to continue the rest of your daily activities, including driving and working. This treatment can be very convenient for people with busy schedules.

When Will I Experience Results From My TMS Treatment?

While most patients will experience results following the seven-week treatment program, many of our patients achieve positive results as early as the first or second treatment session.

These results include, but are not limited to:

The TMS therapy timeline can vary based on individual factors. Some patients will achieve results immediately, while others may take more time to experience results. However, no matter what stage you are in, the team at Pinnacle Behavioral Healthcare will support your needs every step of the way.
